LOGLINE: As U.S. President Ethen Prest hides his demonic identity and dismantles democracy to extend his rule across Europe, prophet Hamidi and ex-FBI agent Cathleen Henshaw race to stop him before his new world order plunges the globe into catastrophe.

Triumvirate 2 follows Ethen Prest, the newly elected President of the United States, whose public promise of prosperity, security and national renewal conceals a far more dangerous agenda. Ethen is a demon operating under the identity of the country’s most powerful political figure, and he begins using the presidency to dismantle the democratic system from within. Backed by the American Ultra Party and protected by the ancient Black Seal of the Seven Winds, he pushes through the American Renewal Act, conditions political institutions to accept his authority and rapidly transforms the country into an authoritarian state. His ambitions extend far beyond Washington. By manipulating foreign leaders and using the Seal to influence governments, Ethen begins drawing Europe into his new political order while presenting each act of domination as progress, stability and unity.

Opposing him are Hamidi Abdullahi and Cathleen Henshaw, who return to the United States knowing Ethen represents a supernatural threat rather than simply a political one. Cathleen, now a fugitive former FBI agent, relies on old contacts and eventually joins forces with journalist George Kelso, whose scepticism gives way to alarm as he witnesses how quickly Ethen’s regime is taking hold. Their resistance comes at a heavy cost. Homeland Security officer Donny Harlow is murdered and publicly branded a traitor, Hamidi is almost killed when the Black Seal neutralises his powers, and Ethen turns the conflict deeply personal by targeting Cathleen’s family and abducting Hamidi’s daughter, Meti. While Cathleen searches for a way to penetrate the White House and remove the Seal, Hamidi struggles to recover, and Meti begins revealing abilities of her own that suggest her importance reaches beyond the immediate crisis.

The struggle eventually expands into an international confrontation. Ethen forces criminal organisations into cooperation, subverts European institutions and prepares to use America’s military power to push the world towards chaos, acting under the direction of the mysterious Cerberus. Hamidi rescues Meti, while Cathleen acquires specialised ammunition capable of destroying demonic beings and becomes the driving force behind the final attempt to stop Ethen. With George and Winston Burnie helping them from the margins, the group mounts a desperate assault on Ethen’s power from inside the White House. Cathleen steals the Black Seal, Hamidi holds Ethen at bay, and Ethen finally reveals his monstrous true form before being destroyed. In the aftermath, the spell over the political system appears broken, the American Ultra Party collapses, and the surviving characters return to Ethiopia to mourn those lost in the fight. Hamidi disposes of the Black Seal in Lake Tana, ending its threat, while the deeper mysteries surrounding Cerberus, Hamidi and Meti remain unresolved.
